The ONS’s figures claim that the UK’s GDP fell -0.2% in Q1 2012, thereby the UK is technically in recession.
Serves the politicians right that they thought they could steal savers cash and get away with it. The feckless borrowers have been protected, at the price of the destruction of the UK economy.
